The East Africa Affair, Principal Secretary chaired Coordination Committee meeting for the 29th Council of Ministers and was accompanied by the head of delegation, Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Principal Secretary and his counterpart from Industrialization and Enterprise development.

The Minsters/Cabinet Secretaries were responsible for the adoption and amendments of the Coordination committee recommendations. They were able to unlock the impasse between the partner states and agree on many of the divergent views expressed in the coordination committee key mong them being EAC-EU EPA negotiations.


The report of the 29th Meeting of the Council of Ministers was later signed with the Minsters/Cabinet Secretaries from EAC partner states.
